FAQ — WolfOps

What WolfOps is, how it works and the use cases it fits.

What is WolfOps?

A multi-tenant SaaS to orchestrate IoT and data tasks: it reads from a database, runs configurable logic in an isolated sandbox, connects to services and devices over HTTP or MQTT, and persists the result for traceability.

When will it be available?

It is under active development. The public release date is not yet confirmed. If you want to try it as soon as it is ready, write to [email protected] with subject [Early access].

Which use cases fit best?

  • IoT orchestration at scale: read telemetry, decide, act on devices.
  • Automation across heterogeneous systems: the source is a database and the target is a REST API, an MQTT broker or an internal service.
  • Rule-based batch scheduling: when cron + bash is no longer enough.
  • Operational traceability: when you need an auditable log of every action executed.

For cases where source and target are always traditional web services, a more standard iPaaS tool may be sufficient.

Is it self-hosted or on-premise?

No. WolfOps will be multi-tenant SaaS hosted on our own infrastructure in the European Union. We have no immediate plans for a self-hosted edition.

What language are tasks written in?

JavaScript, run in an isolated sandbox per task. The choice is driven by portability, ecosystem and ease of review by the customer.

Where is data stored?

In the European Union. The full list of subprocessors (hosting, email, monitoring) is at Subprocessors.

Is it GDPR compliant?

Yes. When WolfOps opens to the public, we will publish the detailed privacy policy and a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) ready to sign, in line with what is already in place for RotaFlux.

What will pricing look like?

The pricing model is not defined yet. It will be aligned with the rest of the product portfolio’s philosophy: simple, transparent, no surprises.

Is there an API?

WolfOps is the API: orchestration is configured via API resources. Specific details will be published at launch.
