Zen Timer
Android meditation app with brown noise tuned for people with tinnitus
Zen Timer is a native Android app that generates brown noise calibrated near 430 Hz — the frequency that best masks the tinnitus tone for many people. Designed by someone with tinnitus, for people with tinnitus.
The app runs fully offline once installed: the noise is synthesized on-device in real time, not streamed or downloaded. Your last session settings and your daily meditation minutes are stored locally only, so you can track your practice without any data leaving your phone.
The free tier shows ads served via Google AdMob. A one-time £1.99 / $1.99 purchase removes them for good and leaves the app strictly offline, with no third-party telemetry.
Requirements: Android 7.0 Nougat (API 24) or higher. Built with Ionic, Capacitor, VanJS, and Tailwind CSS.
