I’ve been helping Endesa’s Enterprise Monitoring Center for more than ten years to carry out its Digital Transformation journey leaned on amplĂ­a)))’s OpenGate IoT platform. This Monitoring Center is part of Endesa’s Teleservices Control Center belonging to the Telecom department.

Nowadays, Endesa, part of the Enel Group, is using OpenGate to support its daily operations in Spain and a growing set of LatAm countries: Brasil, Chile, Colombia, etc., and probably Italy soon. These operations consist of supporting new smart meters and concentrator installations and solving issues with the ones already installed.

The system we built provides a unified approach to monitoring, supervision, and integral control of different vertical business services in the company, covering all the phases needed to solve the remote device management of both concentrators and smart meters.
